As we slowly reopen the Inn, safety is our number one priority. For you as our guests — and for our staff as well.
But we’ve thought through all the moving parts, and with a little bit of extra care, we’ve got you covered!
When you arrive, we will have to forego the handshakes and hugs, but please know our “Wave” (from six feet) to you is genuine and heartfelt! We are here to ensure you have a wonderful time at the Inn and in Asheville.
We are blessed with lots of great common space for our guests to use (front foyer, parlor, sunroom, library, grand front porch, backyard gardens, and four individual patios).
We are happy to set any one of our tables for you to enjoy an intimate restaurant take out dinner! Just let us know, we’ll make it special!
BREAKFAST & AFTERNOON SWEETS
We will still be serving a three-course plated breakfast (fruit course, savory, and dessert) 9 am for the Main Inn and 9:15 am for the Carriage House.
- Our spacious front porch breakfast allows us to seat our guests 6’ apart.
- The Carriage House breakfast service is delivered to your door each morning.
While our cookie jars will be stored away for a little bit, never fear — we will be baking and individually wrapping homemade cookies each day! Cookie raiding is still encouraged at the Inn.
SATURDAY HERITAGE MUSIC AND SOCIAL HOUR 6-7 pm
We have missed our local musicians! We will be setting up the porch a little differently, but we should be able to enjoy Saturday music at a safe distance.
GUEST ROOMS
In addition to our normal deep cleaning of each guest room at the end of every guest’s stay, our cleaning staff have all been trained and certified on the additional measures to be taken. We will offer daily tidies in the rooms unless the guest prefers otherwise.
We offer a comprehensive digital room guide to replace brochures, pens, and guidebooks for each of our rooms.
COMMON SPACES
All common spaces will be fully cleaned twice daily. Door knobs and hand railings in all common areas will be sanitized multiple times daily.
We have masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes staged throughout the common areas for your comfort and peace of mind.
The 1900 Inn on Montford Team!
Our team has been trained and certified by NC State. We have a thermo scanner to allow all of our team members to take their temperature upon arrival for their shift. Our team will wear gloves and masks the entire time they are working. The team will keep at least a 6’ distance from all guests.
Have any questions about our new Covid-19 protocols?
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We aim to please, and we look forward to welcoming you at the Inn on Montford.
