Picture of Fitzgerald Bathroom goes “Viral” on Pinterest!
The Fitzgerald Room has undergone a total renovation. Gone is the Georgian mahogany half-tester bed, replaced by a king size bed with a dark brown fabric headboard. There is a 47″ HDTV and new gas fireplace!
The bathroom is completely new – a two person jetted tub that fills from the ceiling, a separate “walk in” shower with ceiling mounted rain-head shower fixture plus a hand shower and “twinkling” fiber optic lighting on the floor and ceiling.
In late 2011, Bed and Breakfast.com uploaded pictures of the bed and breakfasts that were members of their Diamond Collection onto Pinterest.com. In early February, we got an e-mail from them saying that our picture of the Fitzgerald Bathroom had gone “viral” with over 7,000 “repins. To date, that number has grown to over 60,000 repins! And, in March, 2015 the Fitzgerald bathroom was the subject of a “Facebook Frenzy”. In a matter of three days, a picture of the Fitzgerald bathroom had over 770,000 “Likes” and 188,900 “Shares”!
