If you’re staying with us for a romantic Asheville wedding, elopement, or anniversary, we want your special occasion to be as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. To start your celebration off right, we make your room special with flowers or balloons and a bottle of chilled Prosecco to share with your loved one.
“We stayed at 1900 Inn on Montford for our anniversary. Our room had flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us when we checked in.❤️ We enjoyed the happy hours every night on the porch, especially Saturday when there was a Bluegrass band. The breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely go back.”
In every room, we leave locally made truffles from Asheville Chocolate for you to enjoy along with L’Occitane bath products for pampering. But you’re not the only one who’s in for some spoiling. If you bring your furry loved one with you, we outfit your room with a dog bed and homemade dog treats too. “Never disappoints! My wife and I (with our Lab Lucy) have been coming to the Inn on Montford for years and our experience is always phenomenal! The delicious breakfasts, the cozy rooms (Rossetti our favorite), the relaxing steam shower and spa tub, Willy’s restaurant and tour tips, the beautiful historic location with enjoyable walks in all directions and the Shawnie’s incredible cookies are just a few of the reasons we keep going back. During our latest visit enjoyed an in-room couple’s massage, highly recommend! Willie & Shawnee are great hosts, really making you feel like family.”

From determining renovations that need to be done, hosting special alumni events, or thinking of new offerings for our guests, our dedication to hospitality is at the forefront of everything we do.
To us, hospitality means making others feel relaxed and comfortable so they can fully enjoy themselves while they’re here on vacation. And when we say “comfortable,” we mean we want them to feel like they’re at home and not in some kind of rigid, formal setting. We want them to feel as though they’re walking around their own house — being comfortable enough to wear their pajamas or favorite loungewear to breakfast if they want or feeling a sense of ease popping into the kitchen to say hi.
Our philosophy is that hospitality isn’t a mere checklist, it’s about listening to and forming connections with our guests. To the best of our ability, we try to understand what each of our guests’ needs. We always try to go above and beyond to make them feel as comfortable as possible — and that starts with simply listening.
